Youth delegation arrives from Dundee Twin Cities
Last week a delegation from Nablus, Orléans and Würzburg arrived in Dundee as part of the Lord Provost Twinning Festival, a series of events which usually take place every two years.
The events run from Thursday to Monday, and celebrate the long-standing relationship Dundee has with its twin cities of Alexandria (America), Nablus (Palestine), Orléans (France), Würzburg (Germany) and Zadar (Croatia). Unfortunately, Alexandria and Zadar were unable to attend the events this year.
Activities included a Meet & Greet at the City Chambers, a visit to Glamis Castle, a trip up the Dundee Law, a concert at St John’s RC High School, a celebration service at St Paul’s Episcopal Cathedral and various lunches and dinners.
Youth Councillors were invited to attend some of the activities and were excited to meet the young people from the Twin Cities.
